is there a dog bowl that keeps water cold?
Posted on Oct 17, 2009 under Best Dog Water Bowl | 3 Commentsi live in texas where its constantly hot in the summer. my dogs like cold water and refuse to drink anything but cold water. so that means i have to go outside and constantly put ice cubes in their dog bowl every few hours because it heats up very quickly. so is there something that could keep my dogs bowl cold.
I just did a search for you and I found that 2 companies are in the process of patenting a bowl that keeps water cold.
I also found this bowl that has a compartment that you can add water to , freeze it, it is insulated, you then add water in the above compartment and the frozen water beneath it keeps the water cold,
- Pets can drink
straight from the stream. - New pre-filter reduces cleaning maintenance, and wear and
tear. - Built-in 1 gallon reservoir makes refills less frequent.
- Dishwasher safe prevents melting and damage.
- The Drinkwell Fountain is designed, approved, and
recommended by veterinarians, particularly for pets prone to urinary
tract disorders.

I also found another type of bowl which is collapsible. This bowl comes with a freezable cooling pack and carrying pouch.

I also put ice cubes in my dog’s water. But I have like five different water bowls, two are the automatic kind that keep it cold. I ordered them online a while ago. I have 8 dogs, so I need a lot of water for them!

most metal bowls keep water cold if it air conditioned in the room. and if you were planning on giving your dogs ice cold water after they were running around and playing in heat, DONT! That cause bloating and bloating leads to death. and i don’t think u would wants that.
