My dog won’t drink from the new water bowl we got for him. What should we do?

The water bowl girgles when it refills. He’s scared of the girgling. He runs away from it. Now he won’t go near it. He’d rather not ever drink any water than drink from it. How can we get him to drink from it? We have two other dogs that have no problem drinking from it. There’s no room for another water bowl. We already have this water bowl and two dog food bowls.

  • Pets can drink
    straight from the stream.
  • New pre-filter reduces cleaning maintenance, and wear and
    tear.
  • Built-in 1 gallon reservoir makes refills less frequent.
  • Dishwasher safe prevents melting and damage.

    tract disorders.

For a couple days, put his old bowl next to the new one, and eventually just lessen the time the old bowl is out. You can also put a treat next to the new bowl.

if it is plastic or has any plastic parts – get rid of it… get a stainless steel or ceramic bowl.. plastic should never be used for food or water bowls as it is non-hygenic

give him a bowl he will use

you are probably have to get a new bowl. when you get the new bowl and your dog still does not drink from it try putting a little Gatorade in it ( make sure that it is a little amount and don’t do it every time). the Gatorade gives the water flavor and is something different for your dog. DO NOT PUT FLAVORED WATER OR SODA IN THE BOWL. GATORADE IS THE ONLY VETS RECOMMEND.
