What i do is take an old ice-cream tub and fill it with water, sometimes i add some treats or toys to it, then I pop the tub in the freezer, once it's frozen I give it to them and they will lay there licking it until it's all gone. We also add ice cubes to the water bowl which keeps the temperature down.
